Sol Singapore – Modern Asian Fusion Restaurant with Unique Cocktails In Tanjong Pagar
Opened last year, Sol Singapore is an asian fusion restaurant located at 78 Neil Road. This season, Sol Singapore is launching its Menu 2.0, featuring a series of new asian dishes with a modern twist.
The appetisers are lavish affairs, beginning with the captivating Crab Miso $18 where crab chunks are paired with tomalley miso puree and ikura on a bed of tangy Thai mango salad, to an alluring plate of Scallop Carpaccio $21. The latter showcases a lovely stack of succulent scallops topped with radish and gleaming Ikura in housemade yuzu ponzu.
Be swept away by the Shellfish Linguine $25 that’s crowned with slipper lobster, kurobuta meatballs and fried shimeiji mushrooms. Accompanying the dish is a side of thick prawn broth meant to be poured in to enjoy together. Umami-rich and flavoursome, the prawn broth easily won us over.
Other mains on the menu include the visually appealing Prawn Capellini $28, Red Snapper $27 served with black assam sauce and Rendang Beef Cheeks $28, as well as classic highlights like Fish & Chips $22 and Wagyu Cheeseburger $25.
Cocktails are decent with kick and interesting. Look out for their exclusive herbs- and fruits-infused liquors used in the concoctions too.
