Chinatown Food Street reopens with 6 Steamboat and BBQ Buffet & Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee

Chinatown Food Street, known as a popular heritage street food destination, is reopening on 1 December 2020 with six new steamboat and BBQ a la carte buffet concepts – namely 老东北烧烤 Chinese BBQ, 牛车水叻沙火锅 Chinatown Laksa Steamboat, 舌尖上麻辣火锅 Mala Steamboat, Hongdae Korean BBQ, Nabemono Shabu Shabu and S88 Mookata Steamboat.

Affordably priced from $19.90 to $23.90 nett per adult and $12.90 nett per child (aged 3 to 12), a minimum of two diners are required to dine in.

The a la carte buffet features a wide range of marinated meats, seafood like scallops and shellfishes, vegetables, condiments and more. Furthermore, diners can also look forward to free-flow side dishes such as garlic fried rice with braised pork belly, poached chicken, Sichuan wantons, Korean tteokbokki (spicy rice cake), kimchi pancake, guo tie (fried dumplings) and steamed dumplings served by the respective stalls.

Another great thing to note is that each table at Chinatown Food Street has the flexibility to allow diners to enjoy both steamboat and BBQ at the same time too – the best of both worlds.

Besides the six new steamboat and BBQ options, the other stalls remain rooted to offering local favourite dishes such as the Oyster Omelette, Ngor Hiang, Singapore Chilli Crab and Satay.

The Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee stall can also be found here, where you get to savour their signature minced meat noodle made with a recipe that has been passed down for five generations since 1920s.

Meanwhile, Chinatown Food Street will be launching the ‘Always 99’ promotions from now till January 2021.

Selected a ala carte items from the various hawkers will have the number ’99’ in their discounted pricing, such as $1.99, $2.99 and $9.90.

From 1 to 6 December 2020, be the first 30 diners to enjoy a discounted rate of $9.90 per pax at any steamboat/BBQ stall.

Check out the promotions here.
